STEPHEN K. NORDYKE

I am a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. The National Board of Trial Advocacy www.nbtanet.org is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to certify lawyers in the specialty area of civil trial advocacy. The organization went through a rigorous application process wherein panels were chosen by the ABA-Standing Committee on Specialization to evaluate each aspect of NBTA's structure. Neither the Missouri Bar nor the Supreme Court of Missouri reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialist designations.

In 2006, I was designated as Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyer www.superlawyers.com/ by the KC Magazine, a designation awarded to only 5% of attorneys.

Experience:

I have dedicated my entire professional career in representing individuals and families. For the past 25 years I have represented victims and their families in hundreds of cases. Many of these cases involved clients whose lives were shattered from injuries and deaths caused form truck and automobile wrecks, nursing home neglect, negligent health care providers, dangerous products and dangerous premises.

Many of these cases have resulted in payment of compensation to clients without the necessity of litigation. However, when necessary I have presented and tried many cases in a variety of jurisdictions before judges and juries in the federal and state courts of both Missouri and Kansas that have resulted in favorable verdicts for clients.

A substantial part of my practice is dedicated to representing the working people in workers compensation claims who have been seriously injured and are on the verge of losing their health, their homes, and everything they have worked for their entire lives. I have handled hundreds of cases before the Missouri Division of Workers Compensation and Kansas Division of Workers’ Compensation resulting in compensation being paid hundreds of injured workers and their families.
